IL National Rankings 4/8

Posted Wednesday, April 08, 2015 by Inside Lacrosse
The Week 5 Under Armour/Inside Lacrosse High School Power Rankings feature four new teams and dramatic movement. Welcome to high school lacrosse.

UA/IL No. 1 Haverford (Pa.) stays locked in the top position, but there's all sorts of transition after that. Massapequa (N.Y.) moves into the No. 2 spot, followed by Hill Academy (Ont.), Landon (Md.) and Gonzaga (D.C.).

St. Ignatius Prep (Calif.) makes a jump all the way to No. 7 after a big 10-8 win over Landon Tuesday. Yorktown (N.Y.) also vaulted up the charts after a dominating start to its season.

New teams include Bronxville (N.Y.), Bullis (Md.), Westminster (Conn.) and St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.); they all join this week's Top 25 rankings.

Make sure to check out the Under Armour/IL Regional High School Experts Poll, which is a tabulation of approximately 10 high school coaches or media members in each of IL's five designated regions nationally. The Experts Poll will form the baseline for the National Power Rankings throughout the season.

The Under Armour/IL National Power Rankings and Regional Experts Poll will be published each Wednesday during the high school lacrosse season.
